Precious Meals

Hello everyone who reading this, I'm going to National Service (NS) on 13/03/2008. This few days was wonderful as I received a lot of blessing. -Especially the 2 Fs. Food and Financial. The effects of the blessing make me become 2 Fs too. I’m getting Fat and Fatter -_-"

On 10/03/2008, E Fong, Ah Bao, Bao Liang and I went to Suki Shu Shi.Suki Su Shi is located at Cineleisure and it offers buffet at a certain period of time. To me, Suki Su Shi is another imitation of the famous Sukae Su Shi. Well, this is one of the memorable meals I had with my friends.
As we are typical Singaporeans, we ordered and took a lot of foods. Ended Overeating bloated our bellies. It's a real suffer. Ahhh . . . Of course we do really enjoy and laughing through out the buffet.
E Fong took a durian ice-cream puff and used a straw, poked in and sucked the ice-cream. Hahahaha . . . This is one of the craziest moments ever. After this, I meet up Vincent and he treats me Ban Mian =D
On 11/03/2008, I was having dinner with my Cell Group (CG). This is really nice as I received gifts and a very big card from them. Wei Liang a commander even gave me a pocket knife and a very creative letter to encourage me. Haha . . . new friends that I only know one day love to give me gifts. It started with the Korean people who visited our CG. One of them gives me a necklace and now is Wei Liang.

Before dinner, we go over to Ben and Jerry for some ice-cream. It tastes extremely good. As usual, I ate the most =)We were having our dinner at City Hall, Cafe Cartel. There's free flow of bread. Sarah and I ate a lot. Haha . . . Thank you Siew Peng, Angeline, Sarah, Norma, Yang Xuan, Debbie, Robin, Vincent, Wei Liang, Wesley, Markson and Samuel. For you guys make my days!

F.I.R

F.I.R

This picture (o2/03/2008) was taken at Jurong West, CHC Building. Ahhh... was standing quite far away from the stage. Faye got a incredible high pitch voice when she sang "yue ya wan". Ah Qin with the glittering gold electric guitar looks awesome.

I'm there with Ah Bao, Bao Liang, Huan Yun, Shu Ming and Nigel. We queue up at the long staircase for 50 minutes. The gate opened at 12.40pm and service started at 12.45pm which was 15 minutes late. That was very unusual because being in church for 3 years, this was the second time I encountered the church postponing the service 15 minutes later. Wah, the queuing kills. Heats overwhelm us.

Huan Yun said he didn't sleep the day before this service as he afraid that he can't wake up. Wow... that's the thumbs up attitude :D

Sarcastic? No,it's not!

Can you imagine after I attended CG meeting and Overnight Prayer Meeting, I still can't sleep because I got to reach Bedok at 9.15am. Well, this is not the story for this post :) The story is that in JAMs Church, one of the workers said something which I think it was sarcastic. The person said to one of my student "Hey, (name)... you wear very nice today. Except that you got a very HORRIBLE name tag on your shirt". My reaction was (Grrrh!!!)

Well, I don't have the students' name tags with me so I used a tape. I tore the tape, write their name and Bus No. on it and then paste it on their shirt. Don't you think it's a great idea since I don't have the name tags with me?

Picture of a standard name tag and horrible name tag.

After JAMs, Kee Wei, Sandra and I have our lunch. Right before us, there's a group of JAMs workers. They are packing a lot of stuffs and Kee Wei asked me "Do they need help? Wanna go and help?". Filled with resentment, my reply was "NOOO!".

The next day which mean today, my perspective for this incident changed. [The students was wearing nice shirt, why should they put on a ugly and horrible name tag.]

Sometime we can be so busy serving until serving becomes a duty. I'm a JAMs teacher and I should love my students. Little things like name tag speaks a lot about your love for them. Thank Holy Spirit for speaking to me about this.

Day Of Affection: Valentine's Day

It’s Valentine’s Day again. I do like to share briefly how I spent my Valentine’s Day last year as well as this year. Hmmm . . . Last year Valentine’s Day was a funny experience for me. Kee Wei together with his buddy and me went to gym. Cool huh . . .

It was a more fascinating story for this year 2008, Valentine’s Day. I woke up at 3.50PM. As I opened up my eyes and look at the clock which hung on the wall, I jumped up of my bed. Do you know why? It was because I have an appointment with Samuel. We are meeting at 3.30PM in GYM! Oh Gosh, I quickly called Samuel and found out that he was still at home. In the end, we meet 4.30PM in gym. Out of the blue, here came Markson and his group of friends came to gym too.

Hee… look like all the men who are not attached like to attach to gym for some stretching and exercises during Valentine’s Day =)

After gym, I meet Kee Wei for ministry visitation. That was because Yu Bing can’t make it for Visitation as she had CG meeting. Oh Ya, last year during Valentine’s Day, she got BS. How holy she is :) Well, Kee Wei again . . . LOL.

At Causeway Point, Kee Wei and I saw Xiao Long. He just walked into the entrance of Causeway Point. Hey, that was such a coincident. I should take a video or picture of Xiao Long that time. Arhh… missed it. Never mind. I will describe his facial expression. He was smiling with no reason. He looks bewitched. That smile is like riding on a dragon flying high up in the sky. (Day Dreaming) I think he was thinking of some mischievous ideas as he will be meeting Huan Yun and E Fong.

You Are Great

You are great because You paid the price and die for me.

You are great because you restore this connection I have with You.

You have gone before me and now I walk by your side.

All I need to do is look upon the cross and ask for strength.

More of You and Less of me.

Defamatory

This is insanity! After the incident happened in Genting Highland, here comes another humiliation of victim (Gillian Chung). Look at what Xiaxue wrote in her blog.

MAYBE she was high on something and couldn't think straight?

MAYBE she thought that Edison would never spread the picture since he is famous too?

MAYBE she didn't know the photos were taken? (Unlikely as Edison was clearly acknowledging camera)

MAYBE she is really a dirty slut whore who was the one who spread the photos herself?! Well this seems impossible since if she were to plan on doing this she would have at least went for a good wax first...

This is what I called “mental disorder”. She sure has a lot of wild imaginations. Good for her.

Personally, I feel that Gillian is a sweet looking and innocent girl. It’s impossible for me to believe those pictures circulating in the internet are original photos without editing. (unless she admits). However, Ah Bao and Bao Liang have a different point of view.

Let us analyze it.

Maslow‘s Hierarchy Of Needs
Psychological needs are the basic animal needs for such things as food, warmth, shelter, sex, water, and other body needs. Ah Bao and Bao Liang said Gillian Chung is a human being. She has psychological needs too. Hee...

[I have no comment for this.]

I’m wondering why so many psychotics are preying Gillian. Photos can be edited easily and who knows what software did those psychotics used to edit. GRrrhhhh !!!

Chronic Depression

I'm sleepless almost every night. Good and bad thoughts keep popping into my head. The siege of insomnia debilitated me completely and makes me a snorer. It's been for a few months since I have a good peaceful sleep. I need to learn how to handle depression. Last year 2006, I went to school not more than 3 days a week. I didn't even go for my O Level preliminary examination. Things get better in the beginning of 2007. However at the end of 2007, I got into depression state again. I'm truely sorry if you find me irresponsible or isolating myself. Please understand it my friends =) Depression is very destructive. Look what I have listed down.
When depressed, I experience:

01) a loss of enthusiasm for life.

02) a lack of energy for self-growth.

03) confusion as to what is the meaning of life for me.

04) a blue funk.

05)a lack of excitement or appreciation for my accomplishments in life.

06)lethargy, tiredness, and exhaustion.

07)an inordinate desire to sleep.

08)a flat emotional affect.

09)boredom with my life, job, family, friends.

10)the absence of spontaneity.

11)a lack of desire to keep on keeping on.

12)the desire to run away or end it all.

13)the feeling that I am only an observer of life and not involved in it.

14)a sense of living in slow motion.

15)tearfulness and weeping for no apparent reason.

16)loneliness, isolation, a lack of being connected to the others in my life.

17)the feeling that the world would be better off if I no longer existed

18)apathy, discontent, and a hollow feeling regarding my day to day existence.

19)ignoring my creativity, imagination, and ingenuity in facing my problems.

20)procrastination, feeling overwhelmed by my responsibilities, duties, and tasks.

This list can still go on but the Good News is that I'm going to overcome this depression.

"A champion is not one who doesn't fail. A champion is one who doesn't quit!"

Reiteration works?

It was another presentation. I remembered 9months back I got a presentation about -Communication Skill. Standing in front of the class presenting my work, I felt nervous and my hands was trembling. Some of the classmates saw that and began to laugh. Phew, still made it through.

This time, I reiterated to myself that I'm not going to be worry. I'm not going to worry and I'm not going to step back. Guess what, when I stepped into the classroom I greeted the lecturer (Avinash) loudly,"Good Afternoon". This is a way to calm my nervousness and (Gerald, Bao Lin and I) discuss for another one minute before we headed to the front and present our work.

Half way through my presentation, I started to get nervous. I swallowed my saliva and continue to present. After the presentation, the lecturer point out the good point in us. He said we are bold.

Conclusion: To overcome your nervousness, the 2 methods are
1. Reiterate words that build your confidence.
2. Drink your saliva. Nah, just kidding.

After this, I went to gym with Poh Liang. We reached gym at 5pm and left at 6.15pm. I found out that i can do 3 chin-ups in one row =) Keep it up. This time, Poh Liang wasn't slacking in the gym. Haha . . . On the way to Causeway Point, we are talking about icy soft drink. When you drink it, it flows down to your throat and ahhhh . . .Refresh. Rejuvenate. Revive. Check this out: Average maximum temperature for 2007 was 28.6 degrees. Hence, Icy soft drink is needed to survive!

Had Long John Silvers' at Causeway Point and me upsize the drink. After I finished my dinner, Poh Liang went back home to have his Mee Hoon Keuh. I went back home too ^_^

Bye Bye ! N04

Here's the dialogue

Yu Bing: Are you sleeping?

Wen Jie: No

Yu Bing: Can you go over to Bedok and help Jeslyn start from this coming week?

Wen Jie: Sure ! Is it permanently ?

Yu Bing: Yes

Wen Jie: Ok

I'm in N04 almost 2 years since I started joining Jams Church and now I'm transferred to E02. From Sembawang to Bedok ! Haha. . . that's a challenge for me. I have to wake up at 7.15 a.m. Take train from khatib all the way to Bedok would take about 45 minutes.

Bye Yu Bing !
Bye Kee Wei !

Bye Sandra !

Do you feel Eerie ?

I skipped class today. Again and again and again. Stress . . . What's wrong with me ? I lost my focus ! Anyway, I'm feeling quite bored and decided to surf the net. Yes, today topic is about something spooky.

WARNING: (Viewer Discretion Is Advised)

The following contents are explicit of mysterious images and story. Children under the age of 12 are advised to shut down the computer immediately. Hee..

The story goes . . .

Lady without a feet. Cool huh.. She floats

Oh my ! What's that in the doorway.

Human or something ?

Next time do smile

Does he need to pay?

Have you ever seen such thing ? I once saw it personally. It was 7 to 8 years ago when I'm still in Primary school. My friend Juen Leong who was standing beside me saw it too. Just like the second image except the ghostly figure I saw was totally black and not translucent at all. Perhaps it was from Bangladesh. LOL, It
looks like a human-shadow figure and have a pair of red dull eyes. Folding his arms and I
would say that he looks good with his spiky hair. Scary ? No, not at all because it floats passed us within a second. Haha . . . What about UFO ? I don't believe it.

Do tag my tag box if you have such a "horror" experience.

Share it =)

My Goal in 2008 :D

Guess what, I told myself to learn English well. I listed down this as one my goal. I have to learn three new words every week :D I'm always sentimentless towards learning English. I Still remembered vividly that during my primary one, I'm exposed to noun, verb, adjective, pronoun etc. One of my favourite was learning "A.E.I.O.U" as it was quite easy. I hate spelling; learning new words were not my intention. My father had to cane me leaving me no choice but to learn.

I'm facing a serious consequence right now for using too many f*** words in the past. Lacking of vocabulary is one BIG problem. There will be time I don't know how to express my feeling.

I'm really wondering why some people can speak English so well. I'm neither good in Chinese nor English. What ? I'm having a negative mindset ? Then ...

CHECK THIS OUT

I'm sure 2008 will be the best year yet for me and my friends ! I will do my part to be committed to my goals. God will do the rest =)

Happy New Year !

It was such a tedious and fun day for me. My friends (Poh Liang, Huan Yun, Shu Ming) and I went out for count down at Orchard. This was my very first time welcoming a New Year. Wooow... Didn't see Huan Yun for quite sometime. He is now much muscular. How come? This freak went to gym 3 times a week!

We went to Long John Silver's to have our dinner and later we felt that Orchard don't have any New Year ambiances. We decided to head down to Esplanade which is the focal point where there will be fireworks display. It was a long journey from Orchard to Esplanade. Upon reaching City Hall, we can see thousands of people. Arghhh... We quickly walked to Esplanade and when we reached there, a lot of people cram onto vantage points. We can't move in even though Esplanade is just right before us. Poh Liang's cousin, Ah Bao and his group of friends made it to the Esplanade as they came much earlier than us. While walking, Shu Ming told us that an auntie kept pointing a finger on his back. Not just pointing but there was a physical contact. LOL ... He scolded that auntie.
At 12am, a bright laser light outshining in the darkness preceded the eagerly anticipated pyrotechnic show. The highlight lasted around 6-8 minutes. People were screaming and some even clapping. After the show, we rushed back to City Hall MRT station. We grabbed some drinks in the StarBucks to quench our thirst before we took the train. I'm back home at 1.35 am :)
